What are warnings?
Warnings are issued when you attempt to do destructive editing, blanking an article, or trying to upload inappropriate content such as articles with a bad work in the title.
Will I get a warning before being blocked?
Depending on how severe of a rule that you broke depends on whether it is a warning or a block that you will receive.
What are blocks?
Blocks are an equivalent to a ban from the wiki, if you have been blocked you will not be able to edit any article. This is done to prevent breaking any more rules, or using it to lash out after being blocked.
Are all blocks the same?
No, not all blocks are the same, blocks can be different from the reason for the block, and how long the block is for. Depending on how severe the rule that was broken will determine how long the block is for from a few hours to a permanent block.
What if I make an alt to evade a block?
If you decide to make an alt to evade a permanent block we have other means to stop you in your tracks from continuing with your unacceptable behavior by blocking your IP.
Can I appeal a block?
You may or may not be able to appeal the block that you receive based on the severity of the rule violation, see below for examples.
Appealable blocks:
- Edit war
- Discussions about how to exploit
- Making claims or posting information about confidential information such as Kronos.
Unappealable blocks:
- Inappropriate username
- Trying to insert inappropriate content, or bypassing the in place filters to cause destruction inside the wiki.
- Uploading sexual content
- Adding derogative comments to articles, or comments.
