The Pinewood Intelligence Agency, created and currently managed by Tokaisho, is responsible for handling game moderation across all Pinewood Builders games and in the official Pinewood Builders Discord servers. They can be commonly seen patrolling for exploiters, responding to PIA calls, or participating in PB subgroups.
In official PB games, they are sometimes seen with a dark green chat tag labeled “[Moderator]” with light blue text for their chat color instead of white. They also may have the shield emoji "🛡️" beside their Display Name to further indicate their status as moderator.
The PIA has been known to have been issued with various overpowered and advanced weapons over the course of Pinewood Builders history, most notably the explosive pens AKA the "pen bomb". Which is a humorous and unique way to kill exploiters.
On the other hand, PIA members are very typical and friendly members of Pinewood. Despite their "Mysterious" persona. It's even been admitted some go on undercover accounts to pose as normal players, as a way to observe those not around moderators. Or catch exploiters thinking they're in the clear.
Members of the PIA typically consist of high-ranking Pinewood personnel, although there have been exceptions in the past.
How do I get into the Pinewood Intelligence Agency?
The Pinewood Intelligence Agency is an invitation-only group, but those who do make it into the Group are highly trusted, highly known and very familiar members of the community. Only current PIA Moderators and Facilitators may recommend new PIA Moderators to Tokaisho. Recommendations by PIA Moderators usually have to be approved by the Facilitators before going to Tokaisho. Only Tokaisho can appoint new PIA Moderators.
Coordinators, also known as Senior Moderators, have additional authority in their respective "area" and act as a figurehead for their area.
The Appeals Coordinator, as the name implies, will oversee appeals including Trello ban appeals. The Integrity Coordinator will oversee Discords and assist internal/external affairs regarding group incidents or other issues. The Game Coordinator, as the name again implies, will oversee game moderation and will be able to issue Trello bans.
The Pinewood Intelligence Agency has a very limited hierarchical structure that only consists of four ranks.

The current PIA loadout is only accessible to members of the Pinewood Intelligence Agency and appears in newer or regularly updated games such as Pinewood Computer Core, Pinewood Builders Data Storage Facility, PBST Activity Center, and the new PBST Training Facility. The loadout is distributed by wall-mounted givers located in PIA-only rooms within the facilities.
