Battle of El Marsa was one of the first and most bloody battles fought in the early stages of the Pinewood-Syndicate War. It was launched by Pinewood in hopes of capturing a very important for PB train station connecting PBRF/PBSSA/PBSTTF to PBMM located in the High Atlas Range of the Atlas Mountains. The regaining of this train station would secure both PB's resources and interests in the Laayoune province.

Background and the Battle[]

Upon the informal declaration of war in early 2020 by TMS via a PB news channel hijacking and revealing PB's evil deeds to the multiple news networks around the globe (as seen in Truth: a Short Skit). PB would gather 1 Jeep Divison, 1 Tank Division comprised of early war M4 Shermans and a Mechanised Infantry Division comprised of about 120 PBST Tiers and approximately 13 AV-6 IFV's would be sent to recapture the train station only to be met by entrenched TMS forces which would wipe out a Jeep Division and a Tank Division and nearly destroying the Infantry.

After a failed offensive PBST would lose around 12 AV-6's and 100 Infantry Units. The last AV-6 Crew would manage to call in a POLARIS shuttle bombing run and a long range rocket artillery barrage which would absolutely decimate the Syndicate forces forcing them to abandon the position, firmly securing the train station in the PB hands.

Aftermath[]

Seeing the bad performance of the M4 Shermans, PB would commission XYLEM Technologies to create the Breakthrough Tank Destroyer as a modern replacement for the now 80-year old Sherman design and the O.M.N.I. O1 Self Propelled Artillery.

Refrences and Trivia[]

The battle was briefly shown and mentioned in PBM Special: War For The Sahara
